The team used the information coming from 1996 cross-sectional survey of 8,000 Americans adults. And this clearly proved that those who started having sex at a very young age were more prone to sexually transmitted diseases (STD), having higher number of sex partners, having sex under the influence of alcohol.
The cause of this is still not clear but both those people who had sex too early in life and those who had it late in life displayed an increased risk of experiencing sexual issues like impotency or difficulty in reaching orgasm. And this is not just restricted to men even in women this has been the factor.
